Misją Klinicznego Centrum Ginekologii, Położnictwa i Neonatologii w Opolu jest
„Opieka nad kobietą i dzieckiem w zdrowiu i chorobie”, którą realizujemy w szpitalu oraz specjalistycznych poradniach.
Wysokospecjalistyczne świadczenia medyczne udzielane w Szpitalu Ginekologiczno – Położniczym i Noworodków im. Dr. with. Sergiusza Mossora zapewniają kobietom opiekę okołoporodową zgodnie z najwyższym, that is, the 3rd level of perinatal care, czyli nad najcięższą patologią ciąży. Nasz szpital oferuje profilaktykę oraz leczenie matki, fetus and child in the pre-contraceptive period, during pregnancy, childbirth and puerperium, sprawowaną przez lekarzy specjalistów w dziedzinie ginekologii i położnictwa, neonatologów oraz położne.
Kliniczne Centrum realizuje również wysokospecjalistyczne świadczenia z zakresu ginekologii oraz ginekologii onkologicznej.
Poza działalnością usługową, współpracuje z Uniwersytetem Opolskim w zakresie kształcenia kadry medycznej na kierunkach: lekarskim, położnictwo i pielęgniarstwo. The scientific – badawcza realizowana jest poprzez współpracę z Uniwersytetem Medycznym we Wrocławiu.
Kliniczne Centrum jest także siedzibą konsultantów ds. perinatologii, neonatology, gynecological oncology, gynecological and obstetric nursing.
Historical view
On the initiative of Dr. med. Sergius in Mossor 1957 year, the Gynecology and Obstetrics Hospital in Opole was created from a separate department of the City Hospital, which was raised to the rank of Regional Specialist Hospital.
W 1975 The Provincial Specialist Mother and Child Healthcare Team was established from the merger of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Hospital, Children's Hospital and children's sanatoriums in Suchy Bor, Jarnołtówek Paczków. The team gained independence as one of the first in the voivodeship 31.12.1997 r. and changed its name to the Independent Specialist Mother and Child Healthcare Team in Opole.
In the following years they passed another team reorganizations. From 15 January 2015. nazwa Zespołu została zmieniona na Centrum Ginekologii, Obstetrics and Neonatology in Opole, and since 15 February 2019 r. the Clinical Center of Gynecology, Obstetrics and Neonatology in Opole.
