The branch has 90 beds.

They are performed in the department:

  1. Surgical procedures by the abdominal and vaginal routes.
  2. Laparoscopic operations:
  • supracervical amputations of the uterine body (LASH), complete removal of the uterus (TLH)
  • benign tumors (cysts) the ovary
  • in the diagnosis of infertility
  • due to endometriosis (be suspicious) pelvis
  • in an ectopic pregnancy (ectopic)
  • due to undefined abdominal ailments.

3. Diagnostic and operational hysteroscopes.
4. Tape treatments (UNTIL, TVT) in the treatment of stress urinary incontinence in women.

Patients are admitted to elective surgeries and procedures according to the order of reporting, in accordance with the rules introduced by the National Health Fund.

The results of histopathological examinations are collected at the ward office (pok. 150 on the first floor).

After giving birth, mothers and babies stay together around the clock in most cases (system „rooming-in”). Such an organization is now considered the most appropriate for both mother and child. This makes it possible to stay constant, direct contact, natural breastfeeding from the beginning of the puerperium, it fosters the mental bond and helps the mother (especially after the first childbirth) learn how to care for your child. The Department also provides lactation advice by a certified Lactation Advisor.

Nurses and midwives give advice on the hygiene of the newborn, natural feeding, puerperium physiology, perineal and breast care. The department is equipped with accessories supporting breastfeeding - electric breast pumps, cups.

The newborns in the rooms are modern, mobile Kwapisz carts, which ensure comfortable and safe movement of the mother with the newborn baby.

In each room there is a changing and bathing area for a newborn. The ward also offers clothes for newborns.

The Head of the Department, every day from 12:00 do 13:00 provides patients and persons authorized by them with information about their health.

Patients are discharged from the Department every day.
